This week on The Hamilton Review Podcast, Dr. Bob welcomes to the show, Allegra Clegg, owner of Westside School of Ballet.

In this conversation, Allegra shares all about the origins of the ballet company that her mother started in 1967, which serves children and adults in Los Angeles and beyond.

Allegra Clegg Bio:

As Executive Vice President/Co-Head of Physical Production at Paramount Pictures, Allegra Clegg, oversees feature film production, from the greenlight process to the release of the film.   Since starting at Paramount in 2014, she has overseen many feature films including “The Big Short”, “Fences”, “Sonic the Hedgehog 1 & 2”, “Mission Impossible: Fallout,” and the upcoming “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning” as well as the next installment of “Sonic the Hedgehog”.

Prior to Paramount Allegra was a freelance Producer and Production Manager, working on over 20 major motion pictures, ranging from “13 Going on 30” to “Hancock” to the first four films in the “Transformers” franchise.  

She started her film career as a Production Coordinator on such films as “Bugsy” and the original “Robocop”. 

Allegra is the owner of Westside School of Ballet, Los Angeles’ oldest and most respected ballet training facility.  She also acts as a member of the Board of Directors of the non-profit organization, Westside Ballet Company of Santa Monica, one of the country’s premiere pre-professional ballet companies.
